History Pub: Japanese Internment

My kids and I had a great time at a packed Kennedy School last week for a session on African American history in the Portland area with PSU professor Darrell Millner and film maker Ron Craig.  It turns out that the combination of history, pizza, and beer is a compelling one.

The next History Pub will be held Monday, February 23 at 7:00.  The program?  Japanese-American Internment During World War II:  A First-Hand Account with Henry Sakamoto, Gary Higashi, and June Schumann. It’s free; bring canned goods to donate to Oregon Food Bank .  All ages are welcome.
